Terms of Service

Effective 5 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Crello, a service operated by Memriq Holdings, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"). Crello was previously called Hearth; if you agreed to Hearth's terms, these replace them from the date above. By using Crello you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information and the information your household keeps about its members.

What Crello is, and what it is not

Crello helps a family coordinate and stay connected: the family's week, who holds each pickup, drop-off and chore, check-ins, time together, shared plans such as a purchase, a trip or a budget, and — for the members who choose it — where they are. Its suggestions are produced with the help of AI models and can be wrong or incomplete; check anything that matters before you rely on it.

Not an emergency service

Crello is not an emergency service, does not monitor anyone for safety and cannot call for help. In an emergency, call your local emergency number — 911 in the United States. A location can be out of date, approximate or unavailable, and an unanswered update means only that there is no update. Do not rely on Crello to know where anyone is or that they are safe.

Who can use it

Crello is in an invitation-only early access period. You need a Memriq account and an invitation that has been accepted for Crello — joining the waiting list and being invited, redeeming an invitation code, or a link from your household's organizer. An invitation is personal; do not share or sell it. Crello is for adults to sign in to; a child is kept as a managed member by a parent or guardian and does not sign in.

Sharing your location

Location sharing is off until you turn it on, and you may turn on only your own. You decide who sees it, where, when, how precisely and for what purpose, and you can pause or stop it at any time; an exclusion or a pause always wins over a rule that would share. No organizer, family member or trip organizer can turn on, or widen, another member's sharing. Anything someone has already seen cannot be recalled, so share only what you are comfortable with.

What you put into Crello

Add only information about your own household, and only to coordinate it and stay connected. Do not use Crello to track, monitor or harass anyone, to record someone's whereabouts against their wishes, or to pressure anyone into sharing. Do not enter anyone's age or birth date; Crello does not keep them. An adult member records their own days, check-ins and sharing; a managed member's days are kept by the household's adults.

Your private records, and the organizer

Each member's private records — their sharing rules, location, private updates and what Crello's agents learned about them — are theirs. The household's organizer can invite members and look after what the family shares, but cannot read an independent member's private records or widen what they share, and paying for the household does not change that.

Crello acting for you

How far Crello may act without asking you first is your setting, and Crello tells you what a setting allows before you choose it. A standing permission covers only the actions, people and period you approved. At every setting Crello never messages your family, never gives anyone a responsibility and never shares anyone's location except under that person's own rule. You remain responsible for anything you approve Crello to do.

Agents that learn

Crello's agents improve their suggestions from what your family approves, corrects and completes. You can see what they learned about you, correct it, make them forget it or turn learning off. Crello does not train AI models on your family's data unless you separately and explicitly agree, and an agent becoming more confident never gives it more authority.

Other Memriq apps

Crello works with other Memriq apps only through a specific grant you approve, which you can withdraw at any time: for example a shared purchase through Merc, a family trip with Drift or a shared budget through Reckon. Each of those apps does its own work under its own terms — Merc places and fulfils orders, Drift holds the itinerary and reservations, Reckon keeps the financial records. A vote or a preference in Crello is not permission to charge anyone: a purchase, booking or payment happens only when the person paying approves it, in the app responsible for it.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us at hi@memriq.ai if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Early access

Crello is new. Features may change, pause or be removed, and it may be unavailable at times. It is provided as it is, without promises that it will be error-free, that every reminder or alert will arrive, or that a location shown is current.

Price

During early access Crello has one level, at no charge, and no payment is taken for it. If that changes, we will tell you before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged without agreeing.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Memriq is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for a missed pickup, reminder or alert, for a location that was out of date or unavailable, or for decisions you make using Crello's week, reminders, locations or suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not let us limit.

Ending

You can stop sharing or stop using Crello at any time; an organizer can erase the household and any other member can leave it, and you can ask us to close your account, as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend an account that misuses Crello as described above, and we may end early access, or your access, with notice where we can give it.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version is published here with its date before it takes effect. Questions: hi@memriq.ai. Privacy: privacy@memriq.ai.
